I live in California where we have similar evil features law. I frequently shoot out of state. Number 1: When drilling start with smaller drill bit for a pilot hole.
Number 2: Good luck getting that roll pin out. Better to use a small screw to fix it in place. I also use an easily removable fin over my Magpul Moe grip. When shooting in Nevada and Arizona it only takes a couple of minutes to return it to a normal state.
Quality video, but the 'necessity' at the root of it kills the soul. Stay strong brother. I have a question in case I have to do the same thing living in this damn state of NY!!
I thought that the stock had to be at it's fully extended position to be compliant with NY's BS law! Maybe I wrong and hopefully so, because I like my stock up close. What do you think about this my concerns? Just remove the roll pin holding the plunger assembly.
Remove spring and cross bar. Re-insert plunger into stock attached to buffer tube and position length to where you want to pin. Rotate plunger 90 degrees, to where pre-drilled hole at bottom of plunger lines up to any side of stocks roll pin hole, firmly re-insert the roll pin to hold plunger in place. Once hole is drilled, remove roll pin from other side and tap roll pin into the hole just drilled to pin the plunger in place.
Check out this link. As ridiculous and stupid as these laws are telling someone they should move is almost as ridiculous it not that simple. Please keep in mind making a few cosmetic changes does not change how the rifle operates the action is still the same it may take a little bit of time to get use to the feel and holding it but a true enthusiast will adapt and overcome and still have fun. In California if you leave your AR as is your required to register your gun even though it was when you purchased it and all that is if your caught with it they can take it away from you and know matter what you do to try to get it back their intent is to never give it back and that means they win.
We can only hope with the new President and the Republican congress that some of these new laws will get rolled back but this can take time and know matter what you hear from Washington the 2 Amendment is not a priority to them because it's only about getting vote when you hear them talk about it.
Well long winded so just go out and have fun shooting. You must be single because if you were married and your wife saw you put that oily gun on her carpet she would load it up and shoot you with it! PM for details. Your Bushmaster has commercial tube if its original. To install the CTR is very easy. Remove factory stock but pulling down on the lever. No if you look at the CTR you'll see a metal bar near the lockup lever protruding on both sides of the stock. Pull on that down while sliding the stock over the receiver extention. Once you'll get it in the last position fully extended your done.
Thanks much! It looked that easy but Originally Posted by bullets. About a 60 second swap. If I can do it, anyone can do it. Here is a close look at mine:. We must not believe the Evil One when he tells us that there is nothing we can do in the face of violence, injustice and sin. Thanks for the info and pics guys!
