I must say this lifetime wish was far more difficult than the other lifetime wishes up until this point. The career lifetime wishes are very straightforward, but I had a little trouble figuring this one out. As a Blog Artist, Darren had to max out his skill in social networking and reach a 5-star blog. Maxing out his skill was easy peasy. However, at first I didn't understand how to get more people following the blog. There are moodlets that come up pertaining to blogging, and if your Sim blogs within the time frame, you will get a higher rated blog post and more followers.
Well, I don't know if there was a glitch after all, it's the Sims 3 but the moodlet seemed to show up at the most random times and it always said, Gotta Blog About Self-Improvement Tips from completing promised wish. I was playing with a very full household too, so this may be where part of my frustration is coming from. I hated that Sim's lifetime wish so much, and hated playing him in general, that I totally forgot to take a snapshot of him before he died. Oh well. In fact, though he is the youngest, he was the first of his brothers to have a child.
He married Daisy Swizzle and just before she turned into an elder, they had a daughter, Elizabeth. Daisy was a bit older than Darren and died of old age while he was still an adult. They got married, he stayed faithful though he never lost his bad reputation , and they had five children together.

Instead of wasting lifetime points on changing his lifetime wish so that I could maintain alphabetical order, I decided to complete the wish of anyone who is added to the household as long as it is not a duplicate of one completed.
Become an Astronaut. I am trying to complete these lifetime wishes in order mostly, but with Isabelle Murdock I thought "Become an Astronaut" was next because I didn't put the list in alphabetical order yet. No biggie. Unlike her parents, Cole and Stephanie , Isabelle took a break in the middle of her career to have three kids with her husband whom she met at the university , Wade Anthony. Like with all the other career lifetime wishes, this one is easy to complete. You just have to choose the military career, show up to work, and gain handiness and athletic skills.

Stephanie gardened A LOT in her free time. I bought the SwiftGro Gardening Station at the Sims 3 Store a while back, and this makes gardening really fun and easy because it waters the plants automatically and you can fertilize everything at once.
To advance in the Science career you need gardening and handiness skills. It was nice having someone around to fix broken tubs and upgrade appliances! I realized that I was playing the same type of characters -- ones who loved to cook and have big families -- and I never attempted to complete all the lifetime wishes. I managed to take the one above because I was so proud of myself for finishing a lifetime wish that had never interested me before. And alchemy can be pretty cool. These puppies can also make good money. Cole just made potions all day and sold them at the consignment shop instead of having a regular job.
This lifetime wish if pretty easy to complete, especially if you are playing with just one Sim and can devote all your attention to him, which is what I was doing.
